Jack Hanlon

Jack 'Handy' Hanlon has been playing ultimate for nine years but with some ill-timed injuries (2003 ankle tear, 2006 ACL tear, 2008 rotator cuff tear) has made a more permanent place for himself in the world as spectator and speculator. When actually playing you might've seen him in the NE on St. Peters Prep, coaching Holy Cross, cutting his teeth at Brooklyn, balancing ultimate and "off-field activities" with Colt .45 or traveling around Europe playing for Johnny Chimpo, the premier open team in Ireland.

You can find him, displaced and disoriented in the Bay Area, with some form of cast or sling on or muttering amidst the yelling of the ultimate blogs (or Dar's own RSD). He doesn't have the height of Nord, the flick of Muffin, the speed of Zip, or the volume of Match, but the man knows how to turn a phrase, and that's why he's your editor here at MSSUI.
